Ingredients:-
1. Unripe Jackfruit - 1 kg, cleaned and cut into thin strips
2. Coconut Oil - for deep frying
3. Salt - as per taste
Method:-
1. Heat some coconut oil in a thick bottomed pan.
2. When the oil is hot enough, add the jackfruit strips
3. Deep fry in a medium flame. Stir occasionally.
4. When the chips are crisp enough, drain it in a colander
5. Sprinkle some salt and mix well.
6. Crispy and delicious jackfruit chips are ready to eat.
These chips can stored in an air tight container upto 1 month.
Cooking tip :- Add a pinch of turmeric powder to the oil while frying. It will give a nice yellow tint to the chips.
